LG Optimus G Pro official for Japan: 5-inch 1080p LCD, 1.7GHz S4 Pro and Jelly Bean

We recently had some leaks and rumours of the Optimus G Pro  and now its been confirmed with some specs!

LG recently unveiled its Optimus G Pro smartphone, the follow-up device to its popular Optimus  G handset. The phone will make its debut on NTT DoCoMo in Japan, although we have high hopes it will launch elsewhere around the globe in the coming months, too. So what’s in store?

The device is entering the phablet arena with a 1080p HD display measuring 5-inches in size. It also packs a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor clocked at 1.7GHz, running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

The LG Optimus Pro will be available to Japanese consumers in April, and we expect to hear more on future launches from LG’s other partners during Mobile World Congress next month, and likely during CTIA in May.
